Tom Henning’s Campaign Manager for the 2012 County Commissioner election for District 3 is not Bill Poteet as it was in the past.
I understand that Bill Poteet is a busy guy with his new position as 2012 NABOR® President, but he has always been very involved in local elections and campaign efforts so I have to ask why is it different with the campaign for Tom Henning this year?
Seeing that Tom Henning had twice won the County Commissioner election for District 3 in the past, while using Bill Poteet as his campaign manager, you would think that this year would be no different, especially considering the importance of the commission candidacy and the many small issues clouding the election this year.
Word has it that Bill Poteet isn’t about to choose between Tom Henning and his opponent for the County Commissioner election for District 3, Bill McDaniels.
Is this because he knows that Tom Henning doesn’t have a hope in winning this election or is it because of some higher power bestowed on him by his new position in NABOR for which he feels obligated or maybe even afraid to choose? I have no idea but sitting on the wire is no way to play politics.
If you like the person, you vote for them, it’s as simple as that.
