There are several higher education opportunities in Collier County, including Florida Gulf Coast University, Ave Maria University, Hodges University and Edison State College.  Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) is Florida’s 10th accredited public university located just east of Interstate 75 between Naples and Fort Myers at exits 123 and 128.  Degree programs are offered in arts and sciences, business, education, health professions and public and social services, with graduate programs in health, public administration, education, social work, and business.
