Trophy Club is a coach home neighborhood developed by Bateman Communities Inc. of Southwest Florida at The Strand, North Naples.
Trophy Club consists of 88 coach homes in 22 buildings. Each two-story building houses four coach homes. Construction began in February 2000.
Trophy Club’s 11-acre site is on the west side of Strand Boulevard between the lakes, fairways and greens of holes 25 and 14 of the community’s 27-hole golf course.
The Evans Group, an Orlando-based architectural firm, conceived the site’s design. Each coach home has a golf course, water or preserve view.
Three designs offering two, three or four bedrooms, have a den, screened lanai and an attached two-car garage. Pre-construction prices started at $240,000.
The Pinehurst is a first-floor design with two bedrooms, den, two baths and a bonus room/optional third bedroom with 2,160 square feet under air and 2,806 total square feet.
The Pebble Beach, on the second floor, is a three-bedroom/den/three-bath design with 2,686 square feet of living area and 3,355 total square feet.
The four-bedroom/den design of The Pebble Beach IV floor plan divides the third suite of The Pebble Beach into two bedrooms.
Original kitchen features included a 8-foot bay window off the breakfast nook, an island work station, walk-in pantry, Merillat cabinets, Corian counter tops, a porcelain double-compartment sink and a pass-through bar counter to the grand room. The General Electric appliances include a refrigerator with a door-mounted ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, smooth-top range with a self-cleaning oven, microwave and a disposal.
Pocketing double doors separate the kitchen and the den, which is furnished with a built-in bookcase. The master suite has a walk-in closet, a second closet and a 10-foot bay window with a sitting area. A second walk-in closet is available as an option. The owner’s bath has his-and-hers cultured marble vanities, a Roman tub, a glass-enclosed shower and a linen closet. The master bath in the second-floor coach homes has a sky light.
In The Pebble Beach, the third bedroom, which totals more than 420 square feet, has a glass-enclosed shower in the private bath and a walk-in closet. In The Pebble Beach IV option, the walk-in closet is in the third bedroom.
Original features included a storage area, a laundry room with a utility tub and a large-capacity GE washer and dryer, ceramic tile in the foyer, hallway, kitchen, baths and laundry room, carpeting in the bedrooms and living areas, humidistat, and pre-wiring for ceiling fans, telephones, cable television and a security system.
Exterior features include spraycrete on the lanai, tile roofs, concrete block and stucco construction, paver walkways and driveway and two remote controls for the garage door opener.
Trophy Club has an air-conditioned neighborhood clubhouse with a kitchen, large-screen television and social area.
Every home purchase at Trophy Club includes a social membership at the club at The Strand. The social membership privileges include the use of the junior Olympic-size pool, spa and sun deck and the social events and dining facilities of the community’s 32,000-square foot clubhouse. Tennis and golf equity memberships are available.
The clubhouse has banquet and entertainment facilities, an executive board room, a conference facility, a grill room, multimedia library, locker rooms, salon services and a pro shop. The clubhouse overlooks a botanical garden and driving range. Next to the clubhouse is a pool. A separate tennis and fitness complex has eight Har-Tru Courts.
